General

The Doosan Portable Power G100-IIIA generator is built around a reliable powertrain, featuring a John Deere Stage IIIA engine coupled to a Leroy Somer alternator with standard heavy duty winding impregnation. The AREP alternator excitation system is a standard feature, providing additional electric motor starting capability, compared to shunt alternators.
Powertrain sizing is critical to ensure stable and reliable generator electrical output and provide a strong load take-over performance.

A sound attenuating enclosure, built on the frame, allows the complete generator package meeting or exceeding applicable CE noise regulations. The enclosure panels are powder coated, ensuring a good preservation of your invested capital. Integrated steps and handles improve the access safety to the central lifting eye.
Handling operations have been made easy by the standard combination of central lifting eye and forklift pockets integrated in the frame.
The accessibility to the generator maintenance points has been optimized to reduce field intervention times.

The standard G100-IIIA configuration includes a 280l fuel tank to reach 12 hours runtime @ 75% of the load, an extended runtime fuel tank configuration is available from options list. Our innovative frame design allows easy interchangeability between 12-24 hours fuel tank modules. In addition to this, enhanced accessibility to the fuel tank, for cleaning and draining operations, is providing the best help to reduce impact of poor fuel storage on the engine performance.

An optional switchable dual frequency 50/60Hz feature, combined with a digital control panel, provides the G100-IIIA with the best versatility and application conditions monitoring.
Grouping operator's interface, control panel and electrical protection devices in the same area, drastically improves the safety of use of our generators.
